  17. InfoSpy is a general purpose Windows environment viewer allowing you view
  18. Heap, Tasks, Windows, Classes, Modules, File Handles, DOS and Memory
  19. Information.  You can trace messages, stack and set up automatic timers
  20. to provide real-time tracing on virtually every aspect of Windows.

  22. The new System Sentry library lets you monitor Windows program usage, control
  23. what Windows programs can be executed, disallow users from running programs,
  24. disable the CTRL-ALT-DEL keys under Windows, and disable entire directories.

  26. InfoSpy has been updated to run under Windows 95. Still a 16 app but ALL
  27. functions work and provide accurate information for the Win95 environment!!

  29. InfoSpy has full task scheduling capability allowing you to schedule the
  30. execution of programs, Windows shutdown, Windows Restart, System Warmboot
  31. & Coldboot and the termination of any task.

  33. The Screen Capture Utility allows you to capture the entire desktop, a
  34. specific window or cut a portion of the screen to the clipboard. You can
  35. save the captured image as a bitmap too.

  37. The DLL search utility will examine any local or network drive for all
  38. programs that reference DLLs in order to provide a list of unreferenced
  39. DLLs. In addition, all duplicate DLLs are displayed with an option to
  40. delete the duplicates.

  43. containing ICONS and will list them (and draw them) in a convenient list.

  69.       InfoSpy will require 1 megabyte on your hard drive
  70.       and there are no memory or configuration requirements.

  117.  1. New TECH DUMP feature built for the technical support dept of a large
  118.     software company. This feature allows you to gather key Windows information
  119.     without having the user do anything. Gathers Autoexec.bat, Config.sys,
  120.     Win.ini, System.ini, network information, environment and system
  121.     information. You can display, print or save the data easily and has a quick
  122.     text search feature. You can also force InfoSpy to show the TECH DUMP
  123.     window automatically when InfoSpy is started.
  124.  2. Startup as a hidden icon now does not even flash a window on the screen,
  125.     really makes it tough for users to know InfoSpy is loading!
  126.  3. Upgraded Netware spying capabilities to handle netware 4.x which allows
  127.     more than 255 users.
  128.  4. The ID text for logs can now be configured (on the PREFERENCES screen)
  129.     to be either a name you type, or the Netware login name if available, or
  130.     an id passed in a DOS variable (ie: FULLNAME= when you type SET).
  131.  5. Corrected bug when displaying Current DOS Environment under Windows 95 so
  132.     that it doesn't GPF.

  135.  7. The DLL Search has been updated to not display referenced DLLs that have
  136.     garbage characters in their names, however we did leave DLL names with all
  137.     chars between Chr 32-128.
  138.  8. Corrected bug that was causing some items to GPF when you tried saving
  139.     them to a file or copy them to the clipboard.
  140.  9. The bug that prevented Double Clicking on an entry in the Duplicate file
  141.     list to load NOTEPAD has been corrected.
  142. 10. Upgrades to the Setup program to UNINSTALL the InfoSpy group and provide
  143.     better InfoSpy customization via the Setup program.

  146.  1. Added NEW function to monitor Program and DLL Usage. This function allows
  147.     you to see exactly which EXEs and DLLs are loaded by a program and in which
  148.     order. In addition you can see what is unloaded when the program ends.
  149.     Extremely valuable tool for all VB and Powerbuilder developers!. Note that
  150.     under Windows95 this function only reports on 16bit applications and DLLs.
  151.  2. Updated SETUP program to not automatically restart Windows under Windows
  152.     95. Had several users state that it corrupted Win95.
  153.  3. Fixed Run-time-Error in Disk Scan which was attempting to read a
  154.     non-existant drive.
  155.  4. Corrected Incorrect volume label on Disk Scan which showed the default
  156.     drive instead of A or B.
  157.  5. Corrected problem with Resource Monitor in Text Mode which would not show
  158.     System Memory a 2nd time until graphed.

  171.  12. We had several users complain that the COMPACT GLOBAL MEMORY was causing
  172.      a GPF. This only seems to happen with certain memory managers like
  173.      RAMDOUBLER. So we have defaulted the scheduled compact event under
  174.      SCHEDULE SETUP to OFF. Be warned! Compacting Global Memory may blow your
  175.      system out of the water!
